Product Info

FLOCK A FLICKERS® present a new and unseen application of the spinning wing concept that proved to be a revolution in duck hunting and offers a concept that more nearly mimics real ducks. They are a patent pending “series” of half dozen small spinning wings, with specially designed timers that produce momentary, random flashes or strobes of the spinning wing characteristics, all designed to mimic those same flashes given off by a flock of real ducks. Spinning wing decoys have been the greatest aid to duck hunting in the history of duck hunting, but lots of ducks have been fooled by them.

NOW, the same phenomenal concept but in a whole new, and more realistic look. Designed for use in dry fields and in the water. Operates up to 30 hours on 3 AA batteries (not included). Check out our Dove A Flickers for doves and pigeons

- Spinning wing benefits in an all new look

When they work they're great

I bought these in November of 2017. Only 2, still work the way they are intended to. 3 others work, but make a lot of noise and constantly seize up. Meaning, I have to get in the water and spin them to get them going again. 1 has completely quit. For the money, you are better off checking out what lucky duck has to offer. Only gave it a 2 rating because only 2 of them still work.

I bought 18 of these in November 2017 also and used them about 8 to 10 times in our rice field. Out of the 18 I got only 6 work now. They have a bad problem with the power switch. Good concept but very poor construction.

@Andrew Hill Andrew: our warranty information is outlined on a card found in every MOJO product box. It states that we will replace any manufacturing defects or problems for free but the shipping is the responsibility of the customer. That information can be found here as well: https://www.mojooutdoors.com/index.php/warranty

Again, we want you to be satisfied with our products and want you to get the best possible hunt! Your replacement or repaired units are thoroughly tested to ensure this problem doesn't reoccur when you receive them.
    • Andrew Hill 10 months ago.
You're exactly right. Sad thing is you have to pay to send them in. Only to get the same decoy with the same issues. Hopefully they'll come out with a new series this year that's got the bugs worked out. If not I'm making the switch to lucky duck!

Oh so you will just ship new ones with shipping information? I was just told by Marty that they must be shipped back, which I think is a waste of time and money. I'd be glad to prove I have the defective products and just have new ones shipped.
    • Holden Smith 1 months ago.
Yes, you will still need to ship the defective units back in order to receive replacements. This information can be found on every warranty card inside of every product box. Shipping the units back to us not only provides proof of purchase (not that we don't believe someone on word of mouth) but more importantly allows us to diagnose and improve on whatever defect is present.

Similar review to others here. Like the concept. They worked great out of the box. After one trip several started squeaking horribly. I had to switch them out each trip for a few months as I only used one or two at a time. After 7 or 8 trips I no longer had any that didn’t squeal when spinning. Loved the idea. Never really noticed a huge difference in decoying ducks...but still liked the idea. The set screw on the spindle should be stainless so it won’t rust. The spindle seal needs to be better, and the seal to the battery compartment needs to be better. I bought mine the first season they came out, hopefully they have fixed these issues. Otherwise don’t buy. I may buy again someday, if I find them for half the price. And if I do. I would baaaaaaaaby them constantly drying and oiling to prevent the blood curdling squeal my first set all inherited.
Was disappointing to think real world testing was either not done, or ignored. No way these issues wouldn’t have come up light testing.

Got 12 for water use. Out of all the mojo products I've got these things are junk. All 12 do not work anymore lasted about 1 month. They did not leak water just stopped working.

I gave 3 stars because it's an excellent concept, but the engineering needs improvement. All of mine failed within 5-6 hunts. Even though I knew they might, I bought anyway and tried to take special precautions by keeping them dry and spraying with Corrosion X HD. Didn't work. However, this is a great company. I just called and they are sending the new improved version to replace. No questions, no fuss, just asked for address. A real person answered too! 1 star on the product, 5 stars on the company and the concept. Hopefully I can review the new ones.

Hi Bobby. Glad to have great and understanding customers like yourself. Sometimes these things happen due to the manufacturing process. Hopefully, these new units will have more ducks landing in your spread this fall. Thanks again!
Hoping for Improvments.

Your review
Like others have said when they are running they are a great addition to the spread but after just using up one set of batteries half of my decoys started making the howling noise when they would spin and then they quit working all together. I may try some more if they figure out a way to improve the design to correct these problems but until then I'll looking for something else.

MOJO® Flock a Flickers® (6 pack) - PROBLEMS
10 months ago.
Your review
Worked great out of the box. First good storm the wind flipped them upside down. THEY ARE NOT WATER TIGHT. 3 of them stopped working the next day. Water got into the motors and fried the motor. Getting the proper intermittent voltage at the motor, but the motor won't work. Three are still working only because every time I use them I make sure no water is getting inside. What really sucks is when they are working it seems to get ducks to approach the decoys more consistently.

Low Durability
Your review
When these are up and running i personally feel like these do help attract ducks. unfortunately they have a serious durability problem. power switch can get jammed or breaks, some start squealing and rattling and the biggest issue is that are hardly even water resistant. I bought 12 last year (17-18 season) and only have 4 that still function. I will not be buying anymore until significant upgrades in durability are made.

Quality IS very important to us here at MOJO and we take it seriously. We have worked very hard to make this product as durable as practical. We did have problems with the first units we produced and we have changed the design each time we have made a run to improve them. However, all of our products are guaranteed and if you have problems with them all you need to do is send the faulty units back to us and we will replace or repair. We have replaced or repaired every Flock A Flicker that has been returned to us. We try our best to provide quality products and we stand behind them. Submit your info here for more information on replacements and/or repairs: https://www.mojooutdoors.com/contact
Would be a home run if they lasted at least one season.
Your review
They would easily be a 5 star rating if they would last more than an couple hunts. 4 hunts in half had already quit working. They did replace 4 of the 6. (2 hunts later the other 2 locked up) the new 4 did make it through the rest of the season, but now while I was cleaning gear getting pumped up for the new season, I’ve noticed all 6 are locked up. Maybe in fresh water these would have better results.
